Starting in 2008 as a radio show on Viva Radio with Deano Sounds, the idea behind Cultures of Soul was invented. The idea was to create a radio show that promoted the different styles of soul/funk/jazz/disco from all over the world.

Cultures of Soul is now in development to be the mixed media brand designed for the DJ, the dancer, record collector, and producer interested in soul music of all continents.
